Tame Impala is an Australian band that mixes pop, rock and neopsychedelic.
This musical project was created in 2007 by Kevin Parker, today there are 5 members:
Kevin Parker, Dominic Simper, Jay Watson, Cam Avery and Julien Barbagallo.
They have almost a dozen albums, the first, called Live at the Corner, was released in 2010 and the last album of Tame Impala is The Slow Rush released in 2020.
What makes this group strong & stronger is their ability to innovate, to produce sounds that seem quite similar and at the same time completely different, interesting, and hypnotizing.
Psychedelism is a movement of counter-culture that appeared in the 60s, this movement holds as argument the correlation between artistic activities (painting, drawing, music…) and the consumption of psychotropics in order to experiment the art of the soul… The neopsychedelic is a musical genre that takes for base the psychedelic music of the 60s, it consists of repeated rhythms, hypnotic, bands of long sounds, effects of distortions and even side effects that mix all things.
